The first civilian domestic flight since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime landed in Aleppo on Wednesday, December 18, after departing from the Syrian capital of Damascus.
Footage posted by the Syria Civil Defense shows the flight landing in Aleppo and the White Helmets being deployed “to secure” the airport.
The flight transported 43 passengers, including journalists, Al Jazeera said.
