Fabian Sanelli has joined the team after a decade in real estate.
Victoria’s top auction office Ray White Ferntree Gully has welcomed leading auctioneer Fabian Sanelli as Head of Performance to the office’s 28 strong sales team.
Born and bred in Melbourne, Fabian joined the real estate industry 10 years ago after transitioning from a career in advertising. From there, he built a strong reputation as an auctioneer and sales agent and was fortunate enough to win awards along the journey.
“I’ve always sought a challenge and quickly learned within the sales space that I wanted to call auctions, but later realised that I had a deeper passion for calling auctions and managing people,” he said.
“During this time as an auctioneer, I honed my auction craft and built a strong reputation as a leading auctioneer and became one of the most booked auctioneers in Victoria. Since joining and then leading a top auction company, I’ve conducted more than 5,000 auctions.”
While Fabian will always have a love for auctioneering, he is excited to be able to mentor and coach agents from every level of the business.
“Now it’s about giving back to the people that have trusted me over the years and helping them achieve their goals. My key strengths are developing and progressing agent growth and also my knowledge in the auction space,” Fabian said.
“Specifically, I want to help young agents get from point A to point B as quickly and as efficiently as possible. For the senior agents, it’s about them unlocking the potential that point C exists, even though they are already at point B.
“But my ultimate goal is to take Ray White Ferntree Gully to the number one auction office nationally.”
Fabian said he’s been fortunate enough to work with Ray White Ferntree Gully from the beginning so the choice to join them was an easy decision.
“I have been a big advocate and believer in what they stand for, their beliefs as a business and the direction they want to head in,” he said.
“I was attracted to the role because I already had a strong foundation with many of the staff in the office and have somewhat been a part of their journey thus far. Walking into a new role can be daunting, but when it’s with people you already know and love, it becomes appealing, rewarding but most importantly, satisfying.”
Ray White Ferntree Gully managing director Patrick McConnachie said they are thrilled to welcome Fabian to the team.
“We have known each other for some time now and Fabian already had the respect of our team as being the best in the business before even walking in the door,” he said.
“This is a credit to the way Fabian carries himself with his auction business. We didn’t jump to get anyone to fill the role, we waited for sometime to find the right person and now we have him, we are looking forward to kicking goals together.”
