The closing event of Token2049’s Singapore edition on September 18-19 will close with a “glimpse into the future of live entertainment” thanks to spatial audio pioneers Polygon Productions, said the event’s founder Raphael Strauch.
Taking place Friday, September 20 at the Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck, CÉ LA VI restaurant and Club Lounge, After2049 will showcase musical acts including headliners WhoMadeWho, South African DJ and producer Da Capo, and returning acts ANONM, Leon, Milam and Mo-Shi.
The performances will offer guests an “unprecedented audio-visual spectacle,” Strauch said in a press release accompanying the news. Attendees will be immersed in a 360° audio experience using Polygon Production’s audio technology, which deploys a circular array of speaker stacks powered by L-Acoustics L-ISA technology, enabling the music to move “above, around and through the audience.”
“This will be an evening for the books,” said Nico Elliott, CEO of Polygon Productions.
