Ford Field bag policy for Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings: What to know

As the Detroit Lions host the Minnesota Vikings in the last game of the regular season, Ford Field will have the NFL bag policy in place for those attending the game.

Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceed 12-by-6-by-12 inches. The policy includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags that fit within the permissible dimensions.

A small non-clear bag, small clutch bag or binocular case with or without a handle or strap is allowed, but must not exceed 4.5 by 6.5 inches in size.

Exceptions to the size limit of 12-by-6-by 12-inches will be made for medically necessary items.

Some prohibited items include firearms, knives, explosives, beach balls, footballs, chairs, drones and umbrellas.

For the Detroit Lions-Minnesota Vikings game Sunday night, the NFL bag policy will be in place.
