How to Get Pumpkin Spice Glam, According to Makeup Artist Victoria Lyn

Victoria Lyn knows exactly how to nail the viral Pumpkin Spice glam aesthetic.

Victoria worked her magic on Us Weekly’s Senior Style & Beauty editor, Crista Laqcua, to create a flawless makeup look perfect for fall. “One product can completely transform your makeup routine,” she told Us, reaching for the Mango People Cream Blush and Multistick in the shade Gulabi and applying it directly to Crista’s cheeks. “It’s so pretty. It’s this beautiful burnt orange color,” she said.

“I just love applying these on an everyday basis,” Victoria gushed. “It makes doing your makeup super easy without needing multiple products.” After blending in the pigment using a big fluffy brush, Victoria added more blush to Crista’s face to give her even more of a lit-from-within glow. “I love a lot of blush. Blush is a really easy product to completely transform your everyday look.”

Next, Victoria mastered the art of winged liner on Crista’s eyes with the Artist Color Pencil from Makeup For Ever. “What I’m gonna do is lightly add just a bit of a wing on the outer corner of your eye and really define this shape that you have, which is so beautiful.” she said as she accentuated Crista’s brown eyes with the coffee liner. “I’m winging out this color, and it’s fading really nicely into her blush,” she explained.

To give her eyes even more of a pop, Victoria blended a brown sparkly shadow into her crease using the Kaja Beauty Eyeshadow Trio in Orange Blossom. Then, she swept the bronze shade across her lid. To complete Crista’s eye makeup, Victoria used the new CoverGirl mascara in brown to lengthen her lashes. “You can go a little more dramatic, you can add a little more eyeliner or a little more blush.

When e.l.f. said “eyes, lips, face,” they must have been talking about their new monochromatic multi-stick. In this episode of Breaking Beauty, Us Weekly senior editors Robyn Merrett and Crista Lacqua try out the new multipurpose product that triples as a blush, eyeshadow and lip tint. “Great for travel” and “really affordable” at only $5, […]

Moving onto lips, Victoria lined Crista’s pout with the same Makeup For Ever Artist Color Pencil, praising the product for being oh-so-versatile. “This is what we call a ‘monochromatic look,’” she told Us. “When you have the same color on the cheeks, the eyes and the lips, it always looks so beautiful and it just ties everything in when you’re using that same tone. I’m going to add a little bit to [Crista’s] lips now that I have on your eyes. It’s a beautiful wash of pumpkin.” The makeup pro made Crista’s lips look even juicier with a pumpkin-scented gloss.

To ensure that Crista’s glam lasted all day (and night!) Victoria used a pinpoint powder technique around her nostrils and on her forehead. “Pinpoint powdering is using powder in specific areas of your face rather than completely setting the whole face,” Victoria explained to Us, grabbing the Ami Cole powder.

“What’s really in right now is glowy cheeks — the Sabrina Carpenter makeup that we all love. Because we used a lot of cream products, I don’t want to take away that glow on her cheek, so I’m [only] going to add it in places where makeup tends to wear down — the center of the face and right across the nose.”

For the finishing touch, Victoria gave Crita’s face a spritz of Patrick Starr’s One Size On ’Till Dawn Setting Spray. Voilà! A perfect fall look.
